Dear Friend, As one of the Wisconsin 14, I was proud to stand up with my Democratic colleagues last month to try to save the rights of working families which were under attack by Governor Walker and his Republican rubber stamps in the legislature. But the fight is not over. While we were not able to stop Scott Walker and his Republican cronies from destroying nearly 50 years of workers’ rights in Wisconsin, we were able to shine a light onto where their true interests lie – with the big special interests and their billionaire donors. Now they are coming after me because I stood up for you and all working men and women. The out of state and out of touch Republican special interests are already gearing up to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to recall me, and to make sure working families don’t have a voice in Wisconsin. It saddens and angers me to see Republican leaders putting special interests like the Koch brothers before Wisconsin workers and their families. Wisconsin workers have struggled for generations to build our great state and establish a high quality of life and we cannot let them turn back the clock again. Now, more than ever, I need your help to fight back against this recall effort so that the men and women of Wisconsin, and not a couple of billionaire brothers, have a voice in Madison. Republicans were so desperate to end workers’ rights that they broke Wisconsin’s open meeting law to push their vote through. Their actions make it clear that corporations and specials interests control Walker and the Republican legislative leadership. I will continue to stand up for your rights, and I ask that you continue to stand and fight with me. With your help, I know we can stop their recall efforts in their tracks. In Solidarity, Senator Julie Lassa 24th Senate District

Mrs. Lassa,
You should be in no way proud of leaving all your constituents. You are a coward and are indebted to the union and thier members. You don't have the courage to stand up against special interest groups. People like you have driven our nation to her knees and continue to sell her soul for the power and privilege you enjoy. You don't and can't care about to Children because your to into yourself to truly give of yourself.
Great points, Joni!
Any response, Sen. Lassa?
