Wisconsin State Senator Julie Lassa, a Stevens Point Democrat said Republican lawmakers are following Governor Scott Walker instead of their constituents. 14 Senate Democrats went to Illinois to delay a vote on Governor Scott Walker's changes to union organization and collective bargaining. Senate Republicans passed the proposal on Wednesday, March 8, and the governor signed those changes into law two days later. The 14 Democrats returned to the Capitol on Saturday, March 12.
