"Wisconsin's chief elections official is speaking at Marquette University about the recall efforts and the new voter identification law.
Kevin Kennedy is the the director and general counsel of the Government Accountability Board, It which oversees Wisconsin's campaign finance, elections, ethics and lobbying laws.He's expected to talk about the possible recall elections for the governor, lieutenant governor and four state senators and how will the state implement its new voter ID law.
Kennedy has said he expects the review to take longer than the 31 days required.
He's speaking Thursday afternoon.
Recall organizers submitted roughly 1.9 million signatures Tuesday for the six lawmakers. Kennedy has said he expects the review to take longer than the 31 days required. He says he'll go to court soon to seek the delay."
